Rita Hunter-Williams born and raised in Detroit, Michigan is the founder of GetGiveGroup, LLC and was inspired by her life experiences and watching her family serve and give to the community.   Whether it be in volunteer work or in her business experience, her path was proven that when you give you shall receive.

 

Throughout her career at Xerox Corporation, Rita worked in several positions that were service and support focused and found that there are multiple organizations within our communities that are doing great things to encourage serving and giving but do not receive the proper recognition or financial support required.  While working as a liaison for Xerox with HBCUs and as a Christian educator at Shaw Temple A.M.E. Zion church, it was very apparent that education is key to helping our community understand how serving and giving are key to improvement and growth. Rita is also a certified coach in EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 which helps with serving as an Emotional Intelligence coach.

In 2019, Rita began her social entrepreneur role in the Atlanta community by sharing her vision of encouraging philanthropic giving and establishing GetGiveGroup, LLC. The goal is to partner with other organizations to educate and provide gifts and services to small businesses and nonprofit entities that make a positive impact in the community.
